has recently changed hands, now occupied by swirls. in my opinion, it is a better, simpler menu than before especially for children (children's lunch box, sausage/babcon/egg sandwich, etc). eating was decent, no frills lunch. ice creams are beautiful. external benches and internal seat. only the parts are slightly high, so the 1 star is dropping. I visited this café today on 1/3/20, and I must say I was disappointed. I have been here many times before, but today there were dirty cups and plates on numerous tables that were not cleaned properly. The floors were also dirty and in need of a good scrub. Probably the biggest ice cream you could ever imagine outside italian .., amazing! go back only for the ice cream .... beautiful environment and big coffee

Brilliant ice cream, really nice spot in the park. Good coffee too. There's rarely too much of a queue, and the staff are always efficient and friendly.
