Tuesday night is always a worrying time to order a takeaway. Head chef will often be having a well earned break and well you never know how fresh everything is going to be. Worry no more. I've used sonali for years but the last 2 meals have been very disappointing. Tasteless and the sauce for the butter chicken is not creamy, its very lumpy made up mainly of tomatoes and onion chunks. I'm not convinced it was was butter chicken either time unless the recipe has changed drastically. Both nan breads were undercooked and doughy this evening. Unfortunately it all went in the bin View all feedback.
Ordered from Sonali a few times in the past for delivery, and a few times they have missed items , such as my salad with chicken tikka main and the yoghurt dip that goes along with it. They have forgotten this a few times now and also the food is only ever slightly warm. I won’t be ordering from them again !! It’s expensive when your aren’t even getting the full meal !!
Not worth the money…very small trays for how much it cost…cold and not very appealing to eat

We always order take away from Sonali and are rarely disappointed. Tonight though we ordered again. All the food was lovely but my partner ordered a chicken tikka main and was not happy with it. It came in a very small foil container with only six or seven bits of chicken. No way was that a main course portion. We couldn’t ring as we were having a pet emergency and have been out all evening at the vets. I looked for an E mail but none available so had no option tonight but to leave a review. As regular customers we found this very disappointing.
