The Ruby used to be an all-you-can-eat restaurant. We checked online tonight and it said it was still the same. However, when we arrived, the drinks we had ordered were already on the table and we were told that they no longer offered the all-you-can-eat option. The prices were also very high. I have been here four times with friends, each time for their all-you-can-eat a-la-carte dinner option. This consists of virtually every dish you could find on a Chinese takeaway menu, where you are allowed to order as much as you like so long as you don’t waste food.
So having had a few drinks at Leif The Royal Pug, we couldn’t be bothered to walk to our favourite Indian restaurant, The guys at The Ruby fitted us in at the last minute, it looked like they had been really busy. But the food came out very quickly and was very well cooked presented.
Great little all you can eat chinese which is ordered from the menu. Good choice of starters, (note that duck is not included), mains were plenty full too. We had ribs, prawn toast, prawns for starters and sizzling beef, king prawns and noodles for main. All was very nice. I would return again if in the area.
Lovely food it was a buffet menu but cooked for your table rather than left sitting out, so seemed fresh and tasty. The service was superb all the staff were smiling and polite, and the food came out quickly.
So pleased that we booked an early evening table on a Friday night it soon filled up, but we were able to get our food ordered and served very easily and quickly. Loved that it started quietly, and then we also caught all the happy buzz as the tables filled up. All our food was beautifully cooked, and we were really impressed with the friendly service too. Altogether a great evening.

During our stay at the Premier Inn with two tired children after a long journey, we decided to order a meal from the hotel restaurant. After placing our order online, the restaurant called to confirm the details for the delivery and were very helpful. The food arrived hot and delicious, enjoyed by all of us. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying nearby and looking for a delicious meal before or after exploring the sights that Warwick has to offer.
