A group of about 20 of us from work decided to check it out...and, boy, am I glad we did. I can honestly say that I have not had such a perfect steak anywhere else in Austria. To start, we shared some delicious deep-fried onion rings, served with a sweet-chili dip, and cheese & chili bites served with a dip of their own. I didn't find out what the dip was, but it was really tasty, and had a hint of horseradish to it (I think). The beer on offer was equally delicious. Wildschütz by the Eggenberger Brewery has a 5% alcohol volume, is brewed according to the purity code and has a rich copper colour. Roasted barley malt varieties, grown in Austria, lend the beer a pleasant, lightly malty flavour. I had four large ones :-0On to the Steak... The Surf & Turf was a popular choice. It comprised 180g fillet Steak (Black Angus) and a large, juicy, perfectly seasoned prawn on top, served with speckbohnen (green beans with diced bacon) and a baked potato with a sour cream sauce. I wiped my plate clean (even eating the crisp potato "shell" that everyone else left). The Steak was done to perfection. I opted for medium-rare but the choices range from medium-well to "English" (rare). It may be a bit of a distance from Linz, but this is one place I will definitely visit again.

I can honestly say that I had no perfect steak in Austria. at the beginning we shared some delicious deep fryed swirl rings, served with a sweet-chili dip, and cheese chili bisse served with a private bathroom. I did not find out what the bath was, but it was really delicious, and had a hauch of riding to him (I think,) the beer in the offer was also delicious. wildprotector from eggenberger brewery has a 5% alcohol volume, is brewed according to the runiform code and has a rich copper color. roasted kernel varieties grown in Austria give the beer a pleasant, slightly maly taste.
