We have tried various bakeries in IL and MO and Breadsmith, was our best choice compared to others. The rye, the fruits and the sweet oranges cranberry... all lovely. Was concerned that they were cut into slices and thought they would dry out, but they didn't. Great work Breadsmith!

If you've never been here before, I recommend the ham and swiss sandwich on baguette with extra pesto mayo. For dessert I always get a strawberry Chantilly cake (strawberry and whipped custard angel food cake) or opera cake (layered espresso and chocolate cake).
