After church for lunch with group of 14. We had 2 servers so meals and drinks where back to us quickly. Large portions. Good food. Breakfast menu was still available.

Huge portions, excellent service, love weekend buffet

My husband and I were looking for a breakfast place that was not a buffet, served good coffee and was opened early on a Sunday. There was none in Clinton, Mo that meet these requirements. So, we drove about 30 Mins to this place and it was exactly what we were looking for. The coffee was fresh and hot, even had vanilla creamer. The breakfast was simple and good. Not cook like fast food. It was fresh too. We were seated right away and taken care. The atmosphere was relaxing. It 's ran by an older couple that knows how to keep your cup of coffee full, but give you space. There is lots room for seating. There is a sign on their wall that says Good Food is NOT FAST and Fast Food is NOT GOOD

Spring 2019 is finally here! We were in town to open the camper for the season, so of course we had to eat lunch at Mom's. We had a reub with sweet potatoes and a tenderloin with cigarettes. Both meals had a large amount of food. We enjoyed our meals very much. And of course we are back several times in the summer camping season. Autumn 2018: Only another delicious country breakfast finished. Cookies and Gravy are great! Original post: From what we can collect, Mom's kitchen opened in August 2017, but this was our first time to eat there. The building itself is nothing beautiful, but that's why we weren't there. The atmosphere is typical of the area. The waitress immediately recognized us when we came to the building. We were allowed to choose our own table. They have rooms on opposite sides of the building with tables or stands to choose from. The waitress has a great task to take care of us. Our food was ready in a reasonable time. We were there at 5:00 and barely hit the rush. The restaurant was very busy until we finished. I ordered the bread-tenderoin dinner and my husband ordered the bread-tenderloin sandwich. They cut and shatter their own tylloins. Both were very good. The prices were very reasonable. We'll be back. Probably breakfast in the morning. We went back to breakfast and it was very good. It took 15-20 minutes to get our food, but everything was really good. The cookies and Gravy were delicious! We recommend this place very much.

What a nice place to stop and have a breakfast! My husband and I stopped for breakfast this morning. So glad we did. Super beautiful waitress and excellent food! We'll be back in town.
