What Chris Bell doesn't like about Dam Lounge:
Pretty pricey for what you get. Our party of 4 had 3 sandwiches, 1 cheeseburger, 4 (VERY SKIMPY) orders of tater tots and 4 tea/sodas. Total, including a 20% gratuity was $85.00. On top of this, they wanted to add another 2~3% to pay with a credit card. The food was very average and certainly not worth the price tag. However, the wait staff were very nice and attentive so no complaints there. Biggest disappointments... View all feedback.
Worse food , rude owner her food is not try before you buy. Gizzards had grease running out of them, tough you could not chew
Horrible service waited over one and half hours, still did not get food. Excuse after excuse. Won’t go back!
Food was good. Our biggest complaint was that some of it was not hot... at all. Chicken on nachos was cold. My wife's baked potato was so cold the butter wouldn't melt. Service was choppy. Took awhile to get refills and we asked for additional salsa for nachos that never came. Also, we had catfish filet dinners which was served with no tartar sauce but it was good and hot. Found it to be a bit pricey. With nachos, 2 catfish dinners, drinks, and gratuity we spent over $70. Understand they just reopened but it will have to get better before we come again.
Service very slow Did not bring salad before the meal. Ordered dark meat chicken. Got white meat and she argued it was dark meat. Had to show her it was white meat she then offered to fix another piece. Since we waited about 40 minutes I declined. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes made with water and they were cold. Ticket was wrong. Had to get her to correct it. Out of several items. Not a good experience at all
Granted the place was busy, but we were told our order would not be taken until others food had been brought out as to not overwhelm the kitchen. The people who came in the exact same time had their food before our order was even taken. My husband's order had to be changed because of being out of what he ordered. That wasn't a big deal, but what he ordered was brought out long before my order was. He was almost finished before I got mine. I was still eating, sandwich in hand, when the waitress approached with her little handheld computer for us to pay. I had to stop eating while she stood over us to get out my card to pay. The food was not great either, but will leave that alone for now.
