So if you like rat droppings in you salad or if y... read more Before I say anything about food/service/ambiance let me explain why ONE star the place is INFESTED WITH RATS. So if you like rat droppings in you salad or if you take your dog there and you let it drink from water bowls provided you run the risk of infection. They are not a bad place but I believe the way the bulting is designed makes it vulnarable for rodent infestation. I have been to countless restaurants in my life but Lolek has dubious distinction to be the only one where I saw big fat rat running under the tables. Now food... (with or without rat dropping sadly I spotted the rat at the end of the meal). Menu is OK but the actual dishes are slightly on a bland side. I ordered grilled veggies and was hoping they would come with some sauces to break the oilyness maybe concentrated balsamic vinegar, wasabi or Miso. But no oily veggies, oily toast served with olive oil in a dipping bowl. But overal I thought it was acceptable even if it begs for improvement. Service was very professional prompt and nice without overbearing. Ambiance is definitely a plus for the place long wooden tables perfect for larger gatherings, reunions etc. A chimney opened to the room possibly emitting some CO but nice nevertheless. The place actually BEGS to have music open mic, Irish session etc. They have giant potential and could draw some crowds doing that. After they fix the rat issue.

They have a variety of grilled items such as kielbasa (polish sausage), oscypki (grilled cheese with cranberry sauce), and the usually meats (steak, etc). There's also an unlimited amount of self-serve coleslaw, pickles, bread, and sauerkraut.

The... read more I simply love this place, right in middle of a park (not exactly but you get the idea ; . Huge huge place, specially in summer you have to go give it a try. Their is plenty of beer options food is set up outside (it's like buffet and it gives a feeling of being in shack with live music playing in evening and the time i went singers were amazing enough to get people to start dancing. And if your a football fan, go watch the next match their u will almost feel like having the atmosphere in a stadium, people cheering and enjoying the match on the big screen, they have plenty of them inside the pub, outside in open shacks also they have couple of screens so you won't be disappointed. It's a best place to have typical polish food to go with beers and a football match, you can't ask for more : . Enjoy go Polska :
