I've waited three long years to return to Warsaw and eat the best pork knuckle I've ever eaten to date… and I've eaten more than my fair share of pork knuckles across many countries and many cities… on a quest of sorts to seek out the perfect pork knuckle. Three years later, this is still the best. Thank you Czerwony Wieprz and thank you Daniel for taking great care of me. View all feedback.

Service was good and switched on. Space looks good and traditional outdoor could do with a facelift. Food was good but not amazing. Soups great specially the cold beetroot soup, dumplings we've had better, fish (grilled) was dry/overcooked. Sides were also very good. Wine is waaaaay overpriced. A bottle of wine was half our bill and we had the cheapest wine in the sparkling section. View all feedback.
Worth the higher price, I was recommended this place by a boss in Australia who comes to Poland a lot has Polish heritage. We had boar pate, pickled herring the duck. Just so, so good. The duck was probably the best I have ever eaten in my life. Also added some grilled vegetables potato dumplings (basically, super fluffy gnocchi . The pate herring dishes were also very nicely balanced. Our waiter Micaej (I think that’s how to spell it! was funny very helpful which really added to the meal.
This place has been themed Socialist and makes a good show of it. Well done! The prices are tourist-oriented, so be aware this is not a cheap eat. But it 's a good eat, and staff is well trained and friendly. Much better than any of the city-center traditional cuisine restaurants. I recommend coming for dinner. The only reason I don 't give 5 stars is that they went out of Sauerkraut, which I personally think is a no-go.
I think this place is known for their meat judging from the pork mascot and people ordering their steak, ribs and pork knuckles. The steak was cooked perfectly but my Colleauge said that the ribs was way too salty. But overall a place with very good vibes, worth to check it out!
A popular Polish restaurant with a retro interiorThe marinated roast duck with Polish cherry sauce, baked apple stewed beetroot was delicious All the side ingredients on the plate were stunning!! And matched perfectly with the duck which has been well cooked
Visited this wonderful restaurant with work Colleagues while in Warsaw. I had requested we ate at a traditional Polish restaurant and this certainly was an excellent choice. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Some very famous people have been photographed eating at this restaurant that was established in 1909 and now I know why.. Highly recommended for a true Polish dining experience while visiting Warsaw
