Had to ask for a breakdown as I co... read more Only place we found open Easter Saturday afternoon. they were charging a public holiday surcharge. Expensive coffee and cake! Had to ask for a breakdown as I couldn't believe what I heard. $8 for cake! Fortunately it was nice cake. They also had lunch items.

I also ordered tea, which came with a pot of tea, a pot of hot water, a small jug of milk, and a tea strainer. I haven't had loose leaf tea in a long time and I loved it. The young waitress from QLD was very attentive and friendly. I first visited this cafe over 48 years ago with my grandfather, and my family, who are from the Warrnambool area, are regular customers. The cafe has remained the same over the years, with booth-style seating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I ordered a side dish that wasn't on the menu and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. I am feeling very satisfied and content.
