The place is never open when it says! Closes at randoms times on random days. Opening hours changing from day to day and week to week. You can never trust the online opening times. all you can do is make the trip and hope it's open. Which I do, because it's my favourite food in town by far, but I'll be damned if the place is run well at all. View all feedback.
I work at Gateway Plaza and come to Ichiban every day for lunch. The food is beautiful and well presented, the lemon tea is delicious and is a beautiful treat! The lady who serves me every time is very friendly and professional. She has a very uplifting personality and my interactions with her make my day very positive. Thank you for the great service.
Purchased fried chicken, crispy chicken hand rolls and salmon hand rolls, all the meat was off, and tasted foul.
I think $200 for one banquet for 2 people is extremely exorbitant
Frozen carrot peas and corn from a bag dont belong in a donburi. huge disappointment
So a wonderful surprise to find high quality authentic Japanese cuisine on our trip We had mixed rollboard, false eggplant, Alterashi Tofu, green tea-tempura ice cream and the best of all soup called Dobinmushi! Very strong Umami aroma. I'd go back to Warnambool.
