Harry's - Warrnambool

This is a fish and chip shop with tables and chairs inside the Northpoint Centro shopping centre at 70-82 Hopkins Highway or as it is locally known, Mortlake Road.This is not an eatery where you are in an enclosed restaurant although it is inside the shopping centre. The staff were friendly and the pricing was approximately what others charge elsewhere in Warrnambool. I thought the fish and in particular the chips were far and away the best I've had in a long time. Certainly have not had better in Warrnambool. I'll be back!

Velvety fresh succulent flake coated in a perfectly cooked crunchy batter. Chips were perfectly cooked. Came in a open container with a bag over top so they didn't soggy up on the drive home as happens with white paper. Polite friendly staff. Touché

The owner of the shop Harry is just such a lovely person. He is hardworking as are his staff. Harry has family members including his wife working with him. She is such a gem, All the staff are just so friendly there. The food is well cooked and always very tasty if fish and chips are your choice. If you are in a hurry Harry does not keep you hanging around. Locals love going here so there is an indication of choice for you. Cannot recommend Harrys highly enough.

A family member of ours recommended that we try Harrys one night as they reckoned they have the best in warrnambool. Unfortunately they were wrong..they were probably one of the worst fish and chips I've had in warrnambool. There's not too many fish and chip shops I go to..but will this will definitely be one that I won't be going back to.

Always fresh and not greasy, simply the best fish and chips in Warrnambool. The staff are friendly and courteous.
