I ordered eier benedikt with smoked salmon a... read more We called us here last Saturday. it was nice and warm and the staff was very friendly. the food is cooked to order. I ordered eier benedikt with smoked salmon and my hubby had a normal full English breakfast. we shared. a pot tee and michelle came by to introduce us and chat about items in the shop. the beautiful teetassen that we had were their grandparents. how beautiful to not get potter cups, they can have one if they want. the breakfast arrived and it was just perfect that we really enjoyed eating, decor and a nice conversation with the owner. the other employees in the shop were also very attentive to everyone who came in. michelle we will soon be 100% recomend

I had the walisish rarebit that was perfect and my man enjoyed lunch with chips, suppe, sandwich and salat as well as a cake. the personal is so friendly and we had a big chat with the owner. I would certainly recommend it.

After checking the opening times, I arrived shortly after 9 o'clock and checked the menu outside before entering, when going to the house I was greeted and had a selection of the tables so...went for the comfortable backbank. I ordered the full English and a pot tee and sat back relaxing while waiting for my food. after a short while my drink was brought out and then a little later my food arrived. presentation was good. all foods saw fresh and local source and was hot pierced. everything was boiled to perfection, including the posing egg and I enjoyed eating it. special mention for the sausage and the black pudding that were both excellent. After I finished eating, I felt no pressure to go, so I had some free time, I could sit back and relax with my tee. a beautiful place to visit for a fresh breakfast and not expensive. the personal was friendly and engaged without in their face, which is added to the experience. will go again when the next in the opposite.

Lovely home made soup and th... read more Found Shellys by accident today after a visit to the museum. What a gem. My friend and I both ordered the soup and sandwich option. Lovely home made soup and the sandwich came with the best chips I’ve ever had apart from my own!!! Topped...it all off with divine little lemon cake and coffee. Served by Ellie who was very sweet and made us feel really welcome. Just wish I could move the whole place nearer to home.
