The interior looks ok with subdued lighting but our side alcove was tired and the leather seats cut/ripped so we are sitting on torn leather and foam. The starter was a standard relish tray but came straight from the fridge so it was too cold and we found a couple of the sauces too thin rather than a little thicker than normal to stay on the poppadoms (even being colder! The mains are subjective, but we both found the dishes too spiced and lacking finesse in flavours. The mains were generous in portion size. Service was patchy with requests for water and napkins on two separate occasions not being done. In conclusion an Indian to go to after a few drinks with your mates and handy being right on the high street but for anything else in my experience there are better options.

We recently attended one of their themed nights, featuring a... read more We are regulars at Cardamon because the food, atmosphere, and hospitality we receive are top-notch. We recently attended one of their themed nights, featuring a Robbie Williams tribute act. Ansarul warmly welcomed us and escorted us to our table. The food was excellent, especially the chicken tikka samber which had the perfect blend of spices to pair with a cold beer. Our friends also enjoyed their dishes. Just as we finished our meal, the music began and the Robbie Williams tribute act made a grand entrance. He sang all the big hits, resembled Robbie, danced like him, and had a great stage presence. He interacted well with the diners, delivering some funny one-liners. Unfortunately, Raheem, known for his banter, was not working that night. Overall, it was another fantastic evening. Kudos to the staff at Cardamon for their excellent service.
