Friday fish fry was excellent! I think it is the same people that used to do fish fry at Wheaton VFW. Highly recommend the 1/2 and 1/2 plate. It comes with cod, shrimp, fries and coleslaw, red sauce and tartar sauce. Get there when they open-5 p.m. they can get crowded quickly! They do orders for take out also!

I had attended my Father's Memorial Service here. Nice, clean, and an honorable establishment. I have been here several times over my life. Great reverence to our Military is always displayed and enacted here. It is an honor to have frequented here. Thank you.

The first Friday of every month they host the Johnson family fish fry. It's REALLY good. Prices are reasonable, but it is cash only. For everything, so bring cash. If you don't have cash, there's an ATM inside the canteen area.Second Saturday of the month they host Chicago charitable games poker tournaments. There's cash games and tourney games. It's a lot of fun, and you can win some good money.The staff for the fish fry, poker, and for the VFW is all wonderful, polite, and want to make sure you come back. Drinks are priced pretty cheap, and you won't find that anywhere else.The hall rental space is a pretty good size. Can fit about 140 people comfortably. Can get pretty warm in there though. Super affordable hall rental prices, you just must buy all beverages through their bar, with a dedicated bartender that you pay as well.Overally the warrenville VFW is pretty great. Affordable, fun, clean environment. The canteen has a divey feel, but it's comfortable. Although the wood paneling screams outdated, it just kind of fits here, and you'll enjoy your time there.
