I have eaten at Claire’s several times and have never been disappointed. I especially enjoy going in pleasant weather and dining on the patio. The only difficulty I have experienced is finding parking. The last few times I have had to park quite a distance away on the street. I look forward to my next dining experience at Claire’s. What Marissa Lake doesn't like about Claire's at the Depot:
I went to the restaurant couple nights ago and they don't make the salads like before, I'm disappointed because they gave my son chiken tenders that was not cooking and the French fries the taste horrible were all raw, apart from the fact that it took them a while to give us the food, what a disappointment. Claire is a must in Warrenton, Virginia. Claire has been doing creative food and catering for a long time. She has my jubilees, the wedding anniversary of Brooks Semple 30, 40 and 50. Claire has so much attention to detail and sets a unique twist on the best food with exquisite presentation. Your staff is all known, professional and friendly. Our server Joel took care of us for lunch. There is no bad thing on the menu, but you really need to try the She Crab Soup!
From the brackets of good wine, house drinks and amazing **** Mary's to the appetizers of fried oysters or crab soup, this place never disappoints. The service is always at the point and the dayboat sea scallops, steak or fresh catch of the day you will want more, no matter how full you are. Save space for the flourless chocolate cake or seasonal dessert... or at least take it home. You'll be glad you did it. A real local jewel that lets you think that you eat in the big city, right in our small home town. Kudos to all of you!
For the first time, Claire's divorced to celebrate my birthday and had a great dinner! The restaurant was cozy and service was great! Our server (Louis) was very friendly and let us laugh. Started with the Beet Goat cheese salad and it was so delicious. I wanted to go a box of goat cheese claws, they were mouthwater! For my entree I ordered the butternut Squash Risotto, it was so good that I took half of it home so I could enjoy it twice! Then for dessert, we shared a piece of Aunt Beatty's chocolate cake and it was perfect, not too sweet. Thank you. Claire is for a delicious birthday dinner! And a side note... the chair at the top table where I sat was the most comfortable restaurant chair where I ever sat!
Had a wonderful date night with friends at Claire's! It was our first time and it wasn't disappointed. Delicious food, great service, cozy atmosphere. She Crab Soup was amazing along with the Calamari and Whiffletree Farms Chicken Dinner. My husband had the Rockfish that was sooo good! All melted in the mouth. Can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu!
I've met friends here for lunch several times and always have a good meal. Service is excellent as is the food. All items are fairly priced and definitely worth the money. It's one of my favorite dining spots.
