while I was waiting for my wife to pick me up after I got into a carwrack, I decided to turn on and take a bite to eat. as soon as I have ordered, I waited no more than 5 minutes for my food, and it waits hot and very good. the actual standout experience was the service. the autoladen that I waited had called me and explained my robation (stranded 3 hours from home) and when I went to pay my waitress said don't worry... What Amanda Trout doesn't like about Mary Jane's Cafe:
I ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon. The bacon was definitely the highlight of the dish. Unfortunately, everything else was quite bland. The biscuit was very crumbly and almost turned to mush when mixed with the gravy. This is now the third time in the last ten years that the food has not lived up to expectations. I really miss the quality of Mary Jane's from 2009/2010. View all feedback.

The service was excellent, but as usual, the gravy had a taste predominantly of flour and water. The eggs and sausage were pretty standard.
We go here most every time we visit our grandchildren in Warrensberg.
If you ask to substitute a side you get charged full price for said side, instead of an equivalent amount or a small charge to cover difference in cost, like any other diner. This means no high protein low carb options at menu price unless you refuse to eat half the meal you pay for. Service was fast and friendly. Recieved my food blazingly fast compared to other establishments. (You are expected to seat yourself and go up to the register to pay when you are done). As long as you don't expect a bespoke diner with fashionable meals, they're an amazingly priced local option. Although I'm sure they've received complaints about bland food and no seasoning.
Check this place out! Cute little place. Best French toast I 've ever had. Crispy and flavorful. Delicious. You can 't go wrong with the toasty . My go-to for breakfast.
