La Sous Terre - Warrensburg

My visit to La Sous Terre was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere was captivating, and the service was superb. I can't recommend enough getting both soup and a sandwich. I opted for the Pastrami Cheese Onion with mustard on focaccia, and it was hands down one of the best Pastrami sandwiches I've ever tasted! Paired with the Gouda and red bell pepper soup, this experience was absolutely top-notch. Don't miss out on this culinary gem! I love this place so much, and always have. The owner is usually there in the kitchen and delivering the food to our table, and he's so friendly. You've got to try the roasted red pepper Gouda soup. It is SO amazing. I usually just get that and a salad, but he also has great sandwiches and desserts. This was an amazing experience. Robert was an wonderful chef and host. He opened up the restaurant just for us for a special celebration meal. The lobster bisque was delightful, the wine was in a class of its own, and the fondu was phenomenal. The homemade marshmallows in the chocolate fondu was the perfect way to end a delightful night.
