Was Doreen V at Maxx a mag?
1st time visit food, beer service was very good! Friday night was very busy but seated within 15 minutes. Decor is clean, industrial modern but creates loud environment when super busy. By 8:30 the restaurant was at about half the capacity, bar was hopping. There are many things we look forward to trying on future visits.
What Patti V dislikes about Maxx:
Very poor website and inaccurate information. Said they were open. We drove a distance to get there. Not open. Called. No answer. No cars in parking lot. Very disappointed. View all feedback.

My husband and I had a fantastic date night at this restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the wings as an appetizer, and they were truly outstanding with the General Tso's sauce and flatbread. For our main course, we had the Romano-crusted chicken and it was…
We went here tonight with the Wexford volunteer fire company, so cool how, we called around 5:30pm 6pm and we got seated right away!!! Not to mention the service which was so nice tonight, thanks for the unforgettable experience we had tonight
Maxx is a fixed location that I rate between 4 and 4.5 stars. I visited twice and prefer to try a place at least a couple of times before writing a review. The food is surprisingly good. Initially, I wasn’t quite sure what kind of vibe the restaurant was going for—was it sporty dining? It seems to be experiencing a bit of an identity crisis, but honestly, that doesn’t bother me. They serve up excellent drinks alongside delicious food. The zucchini strips, meatballs, sauce, hamburgers, steaks, and salads are all top-notch. There are also other items on the menu that I didn't try, but I’m eager to do so. The service is outstanding, with both male staff members being very attentive—an uncommon find these days. Restaurant owners who have great staff are truly fortunate. Overall, I highly recommend giving Maxx a visit; you won’t be disappointed!
Just tried Maxx for the first time today! OMG, delicious food, loved the flatbreads too that we had as our appetizers, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! HIGHLY recommend!!!
My man and I visited maxx on a Sunday afternoon at 1. it was not crowded, probably 7 tables, among us. we were received by two waitresses, very friendly. my man ordered the burger and I ordered the Filet-Mignon sandwich. both were delicious and presented in a beautiful fashion. my man burger, to our surprise, had actually a baby castle on top, cute! the French pommes were delicious and tiny, our 10 months old really enjoyed them! the atmosphere was nice, the waiting staff was nice, the food was great. No complaining, will come back!
Maxx has quickly become a local favorite, celebrated for its creative approach to classic dishes. Diners rave about the delicious food, particularly the unique stacked burgers and standout fried zucchini. The extensive menu features delightful appetizers like flatbreads and wings, all made fresh to order. Patrons commend the friendly and attentive service, often noting the impressive performance of the young staff. Whether for a casual meal or a special date night, Maxx consistently delivers a memorable dining experience, with generous portions and vibrant flavors ensuring guests leave fully satisfied and eager to return.

This restaurant is closed. It seems that a Mediterranean restaurant will be opening here. I’ve never dined at MAXX, but I hope the new place performs better than the taco shop and this one did.
I was introduced to Maxx Restaurant by my coworkers, and since then, I’ve enjoyed both lunch and dinner there several times while in town. I believe the restaurant has recently been renamed Elia? Regardless, the food here is fantastic! From the soups and salads to the French fries and gyros, everything is absolutely delicious! I must say, their French fries paired with garlic aioli are the best I've ever had! If you're a garlic enthusiast like me, you'll adore their fries. They mix in basil, rosemary, and whole garlic cloves, frying them together with the potatoes... OMG, it’s so tasty! I can’t wait to come back again and again!
We stopped here around 2:30-3pm on a Saturday afternoon. While the wait staff was pleasant and personable, the actual promptness of service was not good. We ordered an appetizer (pictured that was a flatbread with tomatoes, cheese, and gyro meat. That took at least 20 minutes to arrive and lo and behold, less than 5 minutes after that, our entrees were served. (Which is why you see our flatbread in the same picture as my wife 's pasta dish The flatbread itself was delicious- plenty of flavor, and could hold-up as a meal on its own. While my sandwich and my wife 's pasta (both pictured were good both in portion and flavor, neither were amazing and both were unnecessarily/oddly spicy. (My wife and I both said, my food is oddly spicy for some reason. Not that our mouth was on fire or anything, but when eating what is basically a chicken parm sandwich and a shrimp pasta one does not expect the lingering sensation of pepper. Lastly, and perhaps as notable as the poor service, was the price of everything. A mixed drink cost $12 and up. Sorry, but that makes me laugh. That appetizer we had served with our entree, $19. Couple the high prices with bad service, and you have a recipe for I 'll dine elsewhere. While everyone looks for a reasonably priced dining option, I think many people, including myself, would look past a higher than avg price for well made food and good service. This place has decent food at high prices and bad service.
