This is rather out of the way, and we wouldn't have even found it, let alone gone there. But an ex-Malaysian friend, on the recommendation of another ex-Malaysian, suggested we go down. This is rather out of the way, and we wouldn't have even found it, let alone gone there. But an ex-Malaysian friend, on the recommendation of another ex-Malaysian, suggested we go down. Well worth the trip. Again it is the suburbs where the secret little places are to be found. The ex-Malaysians were in tears of reminiscence about the food that was served up. Those of us who know Malaysian cuisine, joined in the tears even if without the depth of memories. It all came flooding back, just excellent cooking. We had Rendang, Nonya Chicken Curry, Fried Chicken, and Assam Fish - all to share. But it was much more than that. including such rarities as Petai Sambal. If you are into this, don't go past this place, it is the real deal.
The best Singaporean restaurant in Adelaide, run by a very nice Singaporean couple! Bringing flavours from Singapore to Adelaideans, they aim to present the most original flavours from home. A highly recommended place to visit especially for Singaporeans wanting a taste of home in Adelaide. Plus, you MUST try their chicken rice!
My favorite laksa is back! And this time they have moved from Fullarton road down to Sturt road near Westfield MarionOH MY GODSEND.
Having moved from Singapore to Adelaide, this is one of the most comforting and heart warming places I love to visit whenever I'm craving dishes from my home country. Food is delicious and consistent. They even have their own homemade Kaya and Sambal Chilli and if you're lucky, you might even get to try their Kueh Kueh's! I highly recommend the Beef Rendang, Oo's Recipes Fried Chicken, Katong Fish and Sambal Petai. Will keep coming back :D
The food was mediocre and lacking freshness, and the service was extremely slow even though it was a quiet evening.
