Fully booked for a Sunday night when I was there. They fitted me in as a single person anyway. Young lady behind the bar, the owners daughter) was very friendly and also a great host. Incidentally they own the takeaway next door. A bit south of Port Pirie, a recommended stop on any journey on this highway.

When I asked for my daughter's bottle to be heated, the w... read more Wow, where do I even begin! The service at this restaurant was fantastic - they went above and beyond. When I asked for my daughter's bottle to be heated, the waiter even checked if I needed it to be reheated, which was a first for me while dining out. I thought that was very thoughtful. The food was AMAZING!! It was so fresh, and the schnitzel was honestly the best in and around Port Pirie. It was a perfect outing for Mother's Day for me and my family.

The new owners have done a wonderful job of reviving this classic pub on the highway.
