Good basic fish and chips and burgers friendly but always busy which says something re quality had burger and chips

Central location, across from foreshor, so popular the wait can be left Ng on a sunny day....but worth the wait. Traditional homemade takeaway burgers with all the salad, great chips and scallops in paper for the kids...yes they have chicken salt! Never had a bad or wrong order in 16 yeas!

Felt like Fish & Chips for lunch they had a large range of variety on offer, there was a reasonable long wait for my food but i find that a good sign when it was very busy means the locals enjoy it as well, the ladies were working flat out serving, the Fish was excellent not greasy and reasonably priced definitely recommend it

Walked into the Fish and chip shop and the staff were all chatting out on the floor. I didn't mind because it looked like it was a very quiet day and hey I know what it's like to have a quiet day in hospitality. Anyways I said a joke when they looked at me and my date "Bit quiet today is it?" And smiled. THEY ALL LOOKED AWAY AND IGNORED ME. Then when we walked up to the counter they didn't even ask us what we wanted just stared at us. The woman serving us was beyond retirement years and had the poorest attitude I have experienced in a long time. I felt like we were inconvenient and causing them the worlds biggest problem. Besides the rude staff the food wasn't too bad but I won't be going back
