I’ve eaten here probably 15 times. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is always great and consistent (and I’ve almost tried everything on the menu)! The Thriller Roll is my favorite, followed closely by the Axl Roll, but everything is good! Pictured is the Rainbow Roll, fried wontons, and the VIP Roll. View all feedback.
What Zachary Morant doesn't like about Rock N Roll Sushi:
2/20/24 after sitting in my car waiting on them to open.I hate to even have to mention color in this post. But I saw a white woman walk in around 10:40am ish.I know online said they open at 11,so I figured she wouldn’t get in.But I saw her walk in,so I still waited. At exactly 10:52am.I walked up to the door, opened it and saw the lady who walked in sitting at the bar.I stood at the front desk,I wanted to get a Togo order before work. When I say,the white manager looked back and saw me.She rolled her eyes and asked.Who opened my door, luckily the woman at the bar said it was open when I came in.I turned to walk out,but I asked the manager.I said,I know you saw her been sitting there.I will never go where I’m not welcomed!!.
First time here, good vibes! They serve alcohol and have bottomless mimosas for $16. I’ll be back to try other sushi and their
We were out to run errands on a busy day and wanted sushi. Our shrimp appetizer tasted great. Later, the tour bus sushi rolls came out. They tasted very fishy to the point where we didn’t finish our meals. Ended up eating a snack at home and both of us felt sick. Needless to say we won’t be back.
I like the concept so 1 star for that but just did not have an enjoyable experience. Server was kind of all over the place. Not timely at all on refills. We had Headbanger Shrimp that came out after everything else even though we ordered it earlier as an appetizer. Even when it came out it was dry and tasted burnt and didn't have sesame seeds. We did receive the Tuna Tutaki before the meal and it was on point. That goes toward the 2nd star. The miso soup was absolutely terrible and borderline flavorless. We got the Reggae Roll and on paper, it should be absolutely delish but it was really bland. I also asked for the avocado that goes in the outside to go on the inside bc I don't like the texture but instead got charged for extra avocado to be placed in the inside. Chicken and rice was good for the youngins so that's the rest of the 2nd star. Salmon roll had way too much rice and the rice was over cooked. It wasn't noticable in other rolls because they were rolled tighter and didn't have as much. The salmon is smoked so take note of that. I didn't mind but my wife did. There was like 8 people working and most of the time had less people eating than that while we were there so not sure why timing was so off the whole night. Portions were small and really couldn't tell that the quality was why the quantity was smaller for the prices. Hopefully things will be better at some point bc like I said, great concept, but I just don't know if I'll ever know if it improves bc I don't want to waste a meal on it.
Always great food, good service, and we love the atmosphere!
