Was Nancy McCartney at Harrigan's Pub a mag?
We went on all you can eat crab night. The staff was extremely accommodating and didn’t miss a beat with our requests. 5 out of the 6 of us got the crabs and were raving about the meatiness and right balance of flavor. I got the cheesesteak eggrolls and pizza fries, which again, delicious. We normally get a bowl of the crab soup when we go but since it was crab night we made sure to order the crab soup to go. What Eric D dislikes about Harrigan's Pub:
I decided to revisit this restaurant after a few years because I noticed they had added a deck. I was pleased to see that it is no longer a cigarette-friendly establishment, however, you can still smell lingering remnants of smoke. View all feedback.
This restaurant has a solid bar with a pretty nice outdoor deck and bar. I visited on a busy night and found the staff to be decent, not overly friendly but not rude either. The wait for drinks and food was a little long due to the staff to crowd ratio. We ordered 2 orders of wings, honey BBQ and hot Buffalo. The wings were cooked nicely with crispy skin and just enough sauce to coat them, with a small amount of excess on the plates. The Buffalo wings had good flavor but lacked a bit of kick. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely return.
Upon entering Harrigans, I immediately felt a sense of relief. It was clean, spacious, and didn't have the lingering smell of smoke or stale beer. The place was bustling with people, there was a band playing, and March Madness was on the TVs behind the long bar. As we were shown to our booth, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sean Harrigan, and his wife. They were incredibly friendly and outgoing, offering their assistance since it was our first time there. Sean checked on us personally a few times, making us feel very welcome. We enjoy supporting locally-owned businesses like Harrigans and the Harrigans themselves. Despite a delay in service due to a large family party, the food was outstanding, and the beer was cold, making it money well spent. The steak bites appetizer was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned, and tender. My wife ordered bone-in wings with honey BBQ sauce, which were cooked perfectly and served with delicious blue cheese. I opted for the cheesesteak hoagie, which came on a fresh roll with tasty meat and cheese, accompanied by fries. One minor suggestion I have is to use Heinz ketchup instead of a generic brand. It may seem small, but it makes a difference to those who appreciate quality condiments. Despite this, the food was still fantastic and we are excited to return and try more dishes. During our second visit, my wife had the wings again while I tried the quesadillas and bang bang shrimp tacos - both were delicious. The bang bang sauce was a highlight. The food came out quickly this time, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, which had brand new trex decking. We are looking forward to spending summer evenings there and taking part in the various activities they host, such as car shows and happy hours on Saturdays. If you've never been to Harrigans, like us, I highly recommend giving it a try. The atmosphere is great, the food is top-notch, and supporting local owners like the Harrigans is a bonus. We have found our new favorite spot!
I wish we had discovered this restaurant while we were living in the area. The bar is great, they serve cold beer, and the menu is not your typical bar food. The food was so good that we visited twice in one week. We are excited to come back when we visit family and have our favorite dish, the chicken croquettes.

It’s one of my husbands favorite soups and he says he has “never had a better crab soup anywhere”. We had a great time with great music, food and friends. Harrigan’s doesn’t disappoint.
