mama has been sitting for her favorite pub meal. new owners recently took over the pub and it was clear that they made great efforts to ensure that regular customers and new customers are cared for. I really enjoyed eating, in which it was delicious! only feedback from mum (which is regular) she thought the plate could have been hotter to keep her food warmer longer. View all feedback.

A truly authentic country pub with fantastic atmosphere situated in this pretty village. Food was absolutely superb, presentation beautiful, service fantastic smiley staff, very efficient and staff who cared about their guests and knew how to serve! Every time we visit The Red Lion whether it be lunchtime, evenings, weekdays or weekends it is always buzzing, everyone is having a great time, enjoying superb food from a great menu. This is our second visit and on each occasion we enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. We had the choice of eating indoors or outdoors both had lovely atmospheres. Nothing was too much trouble and our whole experience hard to fault! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.
