I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel: nice rooms with very good facilities (yes, it's about 20 years old, but I like that style and everything was very well maintained). Service was also good. I didn't visit the restaurant. The only annoying thing was the WiFi, which wasn't exactly the fastest and although there is a nice, large TV, you can't provide it with adequate content. We visited the restaurant and were very satisfied. We found space in the garden, which is very nice and cozy. The food (spargel, potatoes and carving) has tasted very tasty and was very beautifully dressed. The dessert "Spargel Creme Brulee Strawberries with Pesto peppermint was fantastic. Rooms: Very nice rooms, nice and quiet! Nearby activities: Travel by bike on the Emsradweg and get here! Great service for e-bikes. Walkability: Old town is only minutes away or the hotel is almost in the old town! Food drinks: Unbelievable quality of food and service is top-class! Noteworthy details: Incredible selection of outstanding wines and exquisite dishes and other specialties in the wine boutique!
