Thai Jasmine - Wareham
Thai Jasmine
Description
Thai Jasmine offers a mixed dining experience, where food quality ranges significantly. While some dishes, like the Pad Thai and prawn toast, have garnered rave reviews for their taste and generous portions, others—such as the chicken ginger and holy basil—have disappointed with blandness or poor texture. The service shines, with staff often described as friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is lively, perfect for families and gatherings. Despite some consistency issues in flavor, the fresh ingredients and reasonable pricing make this restaurant a promising option for both newcomers and seasoned Thai cuisine lovers. Overall, diners can find delightful options amidst some culinary missteps.

I ordered on NY day, and I'm sure the restaurant weren't expecting quite so many orders for the night. I ordered takeaway, which was good and hot, but the tempura batter looked breaded, and the onions in the noodles were exceptionally raw which i love with a salad, but perhaps not what I was expecting with this dish. Nonetheless, the dishes were all empty by the time I finished with them! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Go. Excellent gluten free options and they're delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very disappointing food. Chicken ginger was ok, but chicken holy basil was nothing like the actual Thai dish and the chicken with garlic black pepper was bland. Was also told to pay cash when ordering a takeaway but restaurant does actually have a card machine. Very annoying as had to make extra trip to cashpoint.
