On this occasion (09/17/2022), despite clearly requesting the crispy fat dry noodles, I ended up with the unwanted thin dry noodles with my Debbie Wong Special soup. This happens every single time I order takeout! I spent $42.00 on soup, lo-mein, and appetizers. There are numerous other Chinese restaurants in the area, so I might as well try them instead of dealing with this frustration. Plus, the dry noodles tasted stale! I've been a customer since 1977!
The food is fantastic! It's just as delicious as I remember it from the Pittsfield location.
I've had it; I'm no longer willing to give this restaurant any chances. I truly can't comprehend how anyone could create fried rice that tastes completely bland. The chicken and broccoli were the worst I've ever had—how is it possible to serve that without any brown sauce? It feels like such a waste of money. I've been trying to give you another opportunity every few months, but I've officially reached my breaking point!
Used to be my favorite place all through childhood and most of my adulthood. Yesterday we went there to celebrate my son graduating and the food was terrible! Almost $200 for a meal nobody could eat. I understand it's under new ownership but i will never eat there again! Wish rick would take it back!
There aren't many places left that make awesome Chinese like this anymore. Here's all you need to know: The portions are big, the prices are nice, the atmosphere is refreshingly vintage, the service is fast and friendly, and the biggest sign of quality... their fried rice has bean sprouts and scrambled egg... the way it is supposed to be. I wish I lived closer. If you love Chinese food and are passing through this area, go here. 100%.
