China Garden The Heron - Ware

This place is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a proper supper, this restaurant comes instantly to my mind. very good and varied food and a large menu.courteous team, and pleasant mood. Not less important, the bill is honest. I praise this place with great pleasure.

Delivery not available after 21:30 because the person ‘had gone home’ despite the business being open until 22:30. Also... £4 delivery charge to deliver an order to an address 5 minutes away that was before even taking the order. What an absolute joke! Really not a good business model nor a practical solution to the community you serve. You guys should be utterly ashamed of yourselves. We will never buy from you again

I tend to look at Scores on the Doors before I go out but this is rated 4 despite only fair hygiene. It must've been a good day to get fair! The restaurant is on a junction and very close to the busy A120 which happened to be at a standstill after an accident so the exhaust fumes were very unpleasant. I ordered beef in black bean sauce and it was fine until I found a hair. I discreetly called the waiter over but then, who I presume was, the manager stormed across claiming the hair was my own! I wish my hair was thick and dark but sadly it's not! I paid and went to the loo before I left only to see a mouse scurry along the skirting. Again I approached the manager only to be verbally abused and ushered from the restraunt. Naturally I will not be returning!
