The Ground Hog Cafe - Wappingers Falls

This place is amazing! I can't believe I waited so long to come here! The leberwurst is the best I've ever had! The staff is fantastic, and the owner is wonderful!

I placed a pickup order last week with a friend while visiting the area, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions. We both ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a Portuguese roll, along with two coffees. When we arrived, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they took the time to ensure our order was correct. By the time we reached our destination, the sandwiches were still hot and had an amazing cheese pull when we opened them! Also, the iced chai was likely the best I've had in a long time! They even included a sweet little note in the bag, which we didn't notice until we opened it. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!

I enjoyed another fantastic omelet that inspired me to write this review. This place feels like the "Cheers" of coffee and breakfast; it has a welcoming atmosphere where everyone knows your name. The breakfast and coffee are top-notch, and if you haven't visited this hidden gem in Wappingers yet, you're truly missing out!
