BATE SWITCH After visit... read more THE SURPRISE Last night dinner reservations at the Tamerind Indian cuisine on South Road in Poughkeepsie New York was a surprising $300. BATE SWITCH After visiting this restaurant when they had the smaller location and recently booking our facility holiday party here in December for work the menu was good food tasty. I decided to come here on Valentine’s Day. When I called to make a reservation no one told me that they had a special Valentine’s Day menu that DID NOT include any vegetarian options, nor was they being accommodating to allow any orders from their original menu in which we have pre-planned our selections. PRICE WARNING They did not have a cognac called D’ussé and the waiter suggested the Remi VSOP or Hennessey. I chose Remi the VSOP w/ ginger ale at the end of the dinner to my surprise Remi VSOP w/ ginger ale was $50, so just be aware of the unsaid and ask pricing before choosing a cocktail at Tamerind. We had a wonderful time with the restaurant manager and didn't know how we started as an early dinner around 7 past 10 PM. Kudos to the staff
