Great food including meals. Chana bhatura is excellent and we will go there again just to have that. Ice cream is ordinary. Kulfi is excellent. Masala tea is average and overpriced. Service has been good but we only go during the day as we have a baby. Overall would go there again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Saravanaa Bhavan:
We ordered for bondas and they just served us bondas made of 'vada' batter.. This is cheating.. Neither sambar or madras coffee was great. Came here with a lot of expectation.. They are very miser when coming to the amount of chutney they serve. Total dislike... View all feedback.
The South Indian food at this restaurant is the best. They offer a variety of dosas, which are delicious. However, I was really disappointed with the filter coffee, as it did not have the same taste as usual. Despite this, the dosas are good, but the other menu options are just okay.
While not amazing, this restaurant is definitely good, especially since everything on the menu is vegetarian. The combo platter is a fantastic option as it allows you to sample a variety of dishes such as curries, salad, and a delicious sour soup. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable meal, this is a solid choice.
This incredible vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne CBD offers a wide variety of delicious options. The ambiance is lovely and the staff are friendly. They have value meals, special meals, and business meals available. If you're in the area and craving vegetarian cuisine, be sure not to miss this authentic spot.
Visited the place to have South Indian meals and I wasn't disappointed. The South Indian meals was good , sambhar and rasam tasted authentic. The business lunch was not as per our expectations. But overall we were satisfied.Place is decent and well located. Service was also quick.
This was another recommendation to us. We actually went back here twice in a week. We loved the ghee roast dosa and the rava dosa. If you are looking for something different try the Kara dosa but be warned it is extremely hot.
