What Maiya Rowe doesn't like about Fortune Garden Chinese Restaurant:
Poor service, bad food. Ordered takeaway over the phone and was quoted a 90 minutes. Not ideal but if accurate, passable for a busy night. read moreThe restaurant in question seems to have mixed reviews, with some customers experiencing poor service and bad food, while others rave about the family feel and delicious meals. One customer was insulted by the long wait time and stale prawn crackers, while another praised the consistency and quality of the food, particularly enjoying dishes like honey chicken and the combination in Fortune sauce. The decor and style of the restaurant seem to cater more towards an Australianized version of Chinese cuisine, which may not appeal to those looking for authentic Chinese fare. Despite some negative feedback, the restaurant appears to have a loyal following and remains a popular spot for Chinese takeout in Geelong.
