One star I'm afraid ... I generally look at the positives in buisness and service... but popped in for a coffee and sandwich this morning, and the manageress was so rude to her member of staff 3 or 4 occasions almost on the point of bullying ... you will never get the best out of your staff if you even come close to that . It’s just a Costa, but there’s not much else to do around here. The top floor offers a nice view of the motorway.
The staff here is wonderful—extremely helpful and friendly. This Costa is definitely above average.
I'm afraid I have to give this place one star. I usually try to focus on the positives in businesses and their services, but my experience this morning was disappointing. I stopped in for a coffee and sandwich, and I was taken aback by how rude the manager was to her staff on multiple occasions—almost to the point of bullying. It's clear that this approach won't bring out the best in employees, which might explain why there's a 'staff wanted' sign in the window. The manager really needs to reflect on her behavior or consider some professional training. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing for customers to witness such treatment. This is 2023, not 1983—it's time to step up, Costa.
It never opens in the morning when they say it should. If you say you open at 7 then why are you still closed at 7.10. Otherwise most of the staff are polite and efficient.
Regularly have a coffee from Costa Sunbury Cross. Always friendly, efficient staff who make a great cup of coffee.
