Stopped off for breakfast and ordered today’s toastie. It was very tasty but felt deep fried rather than toasted. May have been because of the large quantity of cheese. Came here for brunch with friends on a hungover Sunday. I don’t got out for breakfast/brunch that often as it can be a bit disappointing and I always feel like I’ve been ripped off. However, Wood Street was far from disappointing. I had the eggs Benedict but with pork belly and it was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly and just the right amount of seasoning.
