We eagerly waited months for its opening, and when we finally visited, it was worth the wait! The restaurant is located in an old hairdressing shop near the bell. The decor is a cozy mix of modern and vintage, renovated with original mirrors, brass cladding, and even old hair curlers hanging from the ceiling. Malin and Eva serve delicious coffee in beautiful cups, and our Saturday morning treats include sourdough toast with jam and butter, their famous cinnamon buns, and quinoa topped with fresh pomegranate. They also offer a great selection of Swedish teas and freshly squeezed juices, but we especially love their fresh smoothies! But bygga bo offers more than just breakfast; stop by for a cinnamon bun and coffee and get lost in the Swedish treasures they have for sale, from Scandinavian designer homeware to adorable children's clothing and Fjallraven bags. Don't forget to check out their unique events such as art exhibitions and live music performances. After our visit, we were truly impressed and can't wait to go back!
We absolutely adore Bygga Bo (which means "to make a nest") - how did we ever live without it? We patiently waited for months for this charming restaurant to open, and once it did, we made sure to visit right away! Situated in a former hairdressing shop near the bell tower, the restaurant boasts a cozy blend of modern and vintage decor, complete with original mirrors, a plastered ceiling, and even old hair perming heaters repurposed as light fixtures. Malin and Eva serve up delicious coffee in pretty mugs, and our Saturday morning treats include sourdough toast with jam, their famous cinnamon buns, and the Quinoa Bowl. There is also a nice selection of Swedish teas and freshly squeezed juices, but I personally cannot get enough of their fresh smoothies! Overall, Bygga Bo is a delightful spot that we cannot recommend enough.
