The restaurant was closed because of a water leakage they did not tell us. it is not the trouble of the restaurant, but they would have notified us. we have a taxi that cost £15, we didn't know that the restaurant wasn't open until he was gone. so we had to call another taxi to get home. so annoying, will not use your service again
I love the service here, always friendly and the staff goes over and over every time we visit. eating is delicious a true 10/10, I am not from the opposite, but I have become a regular. I would recommend the Keema rice with the Vindaloo curry.
Service on Friday night was slow, no offer of drink refills, had to ask the waiter for more drinks, clear plates etc. Took ages to take out food order.
The restaurant itself is decorated quite nicely and was busy, which makes you think you're going to have a good meal. My food was not very hot and lacked meat. When our order was being taken the waiter was disinterested, miserable and never came back to ask if the meal was ok or whether we wanted more drinks. At the end of the evening I handed the waiter my gourmet card, he had no idea what it was and questioned it. I don't think I'd visit again soon due to poor service, miserable staff and cold food.
De ja vu really took our young companion and made us welcome, offered a high chair and something else to eat for them. eating was really good and good inexpensive, although there could have been more meat with the curry. would definitely go back, especially to the Friday banquet.
