everything was great. the portions were more than ample, the food was good, service was good reasonable prices, but!, the supposedly mild salsa, was anything but mild. it was extremely hot to being unettable. I understand this is subjective, but never had I ever experienced this kind of heat in a salsa. it would do them well to get an average person to test their salsa think about toning it down a couple of notches. This is the real deal. The staff was great and translated for me to the butchers. The carnitas reminded me of how good tacos can be.
For a white dude like me, this is a cultural experience. Good selection of hot sauces and spices to look at in the market while you wait for your food. Food was delicious. Helps if you can speak a little bit of Spanish, depending on who's working. My Duolingo Spanish was good enough to make it happen though : Super nice people.
