We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were very pleased with our dining experience. It was a nice atmosphere and our server was very friendly. We enjoyed our salads, redfish and crab and the porkchops. The Brussels sprouts were probably the highlight of the meal though. The restaurant kindly brought us a creme brulee dessert in honor of my husband's birthday. It was a nice touch. We'd love to go back! View all feedback.
What Sanjeev M doesn't like about Southern Social:
Service was average. Red Fish on-tray was too salty. They ran out of bread. They brought salad with bacon in-spite of stressing to the server we do not eat any meat other than fish. This was our 4th try because of the good reviews but unfortunately disappointed every time. So never going back again. View all feedback.

Today was my first time dining at Southern Social in Germantown, Tennessee and all I can say is Wow! Everything about my dining experience was great from the moment we stepped on the premises up until we exited the building. Let's not discuss the food and the ambiance. The food was simply superb! I dined at Folk's Folly last night and FF can't begin to compare to this restaurant. Thank you Southern Social for making my birthday experience extremely special.

Staff were very friendly. The restaurant is very clean. Our host was very nice. There is an open bar. The steak and potatoes appetizer was very delicious. Aunt Thelma Fried chicken was good, and the macaroni and cheese was very bland. The greens would probably be better with cornbread. But I would try this restaurant again.
