KFC - Walterboro
KFC
Description
Once a dependable stop, this KFC delivers a mixed fast-food experience: chicken is often well cooked and some crew members are exceptionally friendly, but guests regularly face sell-outs, early fryer shutdowns and spotty service. A new kiosk changes ordering flow (cash customers still get counter help), and several customers complain about high prices for limited availability. It’s a convenient roadside dine-in/takeout option for roadtrippers and families—call ahead to avoid disappointment.

When we arrived, dark meat options (thighs, wings, and drumsticks) were unavailable, so we had to settle for chicken breasts. The service was good, and the chicken was crispy, juicy, and not overly greasy.
What happened to KFC? It used to be a decent place to eat, but now it's all unprofessional attitudes, constantly running out of food, and don't even get me started on the ridiculous prices! You want me to pay more for less? Never again, Felicia.
The chicken can be a bit dry at times, but the chicken sandwich is fantastic, so I'm giving it a 5-star rating!
Bad service. Must be selling pulleys. Not as good as it used to be. New management???
