It’s so clean but the food is so disgusting I’m so disappointed it’s nasty don’t eat here

Premium sushi in strip mall setting. Came here for my sister’s birthday (they currently have outdoor dining available during covid) and was surprised that such a high quality sushi restaurant was located right across the plaza where my sister would take SAT classes. Parking is free and available in the plaza lot. There were plenty of heat lamps so you can stay warm on a chilly night. The waitress was attentive and moved the heating lamp closer to us after the table next to us left. She also offered us hot water with lemon since it was cold the night we went. The restaurant is very pricey, although they do have lunch specials. However, the portions are extremely generous. They give you thick slabs of fresh fish atop a bed of chewy sushi rice in the chirashi bowl. The spicy tuna and the salmon were my favorite bits, but everything was yummy. The fried squid leg was also super tasty very meaty with a light batter with a good flavor. If you get the sashimi or deluxe chirashi, they’ll also offer to either fry or make a soup of your shrimp head. The soup they made was umami and like a hefty miso soup. Credit cards are accepted. Bathrooms are available inside the restaurant (and they’re heated). Overall, a good spot to celebrate a special occasion.

Under new management, not the same food flavor or dishes and way too expensive for quality. Food takes TOO long to be served. Wouldn't recommend for someone on their lunch break.

This place has the worst service I 've ever experienced. The lady looked like she didn 't want to be working, we received the menu within 5 min, waited 10 to get our order down, that 's 15 min without getting any water or anything. The menu is so small, we ended up ordering the chilaquiles and she informed us that it didn 't come with eggs, that it 'll be extra with eggs. For $10 and it doesn 't come with eggs? Wow, it 's just rice and beans and tortillas that you 're making. After waiting a combined 20 min without getting anything on the table, neither water we ended up leaving. We nicely canceled and she asked you guys don 't have time? Haha I wasn 't planning on staying there for 1 hour, it was just us and another person. It wasn 't even busy. Quick tip lady, have everything prepared before you open. Don 't have the customer wait almost 20 min to even get water, especially when it isn 't busy. Oh and this place has a B for its grade and it 's cash only...
