Wimpy's Marina Restaurant, Bar Rv Park

The staff were friendly, but the service was quite slow and not efficient. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, and when we arrived, we noticed only one other table had not yet received their meal. When our food finally arrived, one order was incorrect. Instead of the 2-egg breakfast with sunny-side-up eggs that I had ordered, I received a plate with a small portion of scrambled eggs. When the server attempted to fix this, they brought out a plate with raw, uncooked eggs. My boyfriend ordered a Denver omelette, but it was drenched in excessive grease and not enjoyable to eat at all. As college students, we felt that our meals did not justify the price we paid.

I've visited this place countless times as a kid, and I returned today to find that it still maintains the same warm, family-friendly atmosphere I remember! Upon entering, I was welcomed by Lexi, the server, who was incredibly kind. Kori, the bartender, shared some nostalgic moments with me while serving me a strong drink. Matt, the cook, prepared a burger that was cooked to perfection. I truly felt surrounded by delicious food and wonderful people. This restaurant is a timeless gem in the delta, and everything about it is simply perfect.

What a fantastic spot by the river! I can't believe I never discovered it before. Some friends invited us to join them on their boat, and we had a great time just hanging out and enjoying the music...

Unfortunately, I can't share any positive experiences from my recent visit to Wimpys Restaurant. While we had a lovely table with a view of the river, things took a turn for the worse...

I first visited Wimpy's Boot and found it to be easily accessible with ample harbor space. The food and service were excellent, and there are great waterskiing opportunities in the slough to the south.
