Appittos - Walnut Cove

I absolutely adore this charming little restaurant! It's clearly run by a family and they serve delicious food. The steak and cheese submarine sandwich is the standout item on the menu. The cheese fries are also incredible. The staff are friendly and the service is quick.

I have been searching for a great pizza place in this area for two years. Finally, I stumbled upon this pizza and it was exactly what we were looking for. Now we can enjoy delicious pizza regularly! Despite having to drive from Pfafftown, there was nothing good near us, it was definitely worth the trip.

The food at this restaurant was good in the past, but I can no longer recommend it. I will update my review if they improve their service.

I usually order from this restaurant every couple of months. I usually get wings and mozzarella sticks, maybe a pizza. However, I found it strange when they asked me if I wanted to include the tip before I even received the food. It felt a bit pushy. The delivery fee is $3.00 and tipping is customary, but based on the service provided. The last time I checked, I was the one who worked as a waitress and I understand the importance of tipping based on good service. At this restaurant, I have no idea if the food will arrive cold or not. Shake my head.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered dinner for the first time on 12/31 and had it delivered. The man on the phone said it would take 45 minutes but it actually took 1 hour and 30 minutes. The man was not professional, did not provide a total for the order, and did not take my number. When I saw the $66 charge on my account, I was shocked as I was expecting to pay around $40-$50. The food was of poor quality, with no flavor. The Garlic Bread was just a sub roll with cheese on it. The pizzas, calzone, and stromboli were also lacking in flavor. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.
