What User doesn't like about Yum Cha House:
The closest Chinese restaurant to our hotel so decided to have dinner there. We ordered a couple of soups and dumplings for starters. Good start particularly the dumplings which were very juicy and the pork mince very lean. Had a simple fried rice and spicy salt and pepper pork for mains. Rice was ok but the pork was quite oily and tough. The flavour was good, the oiliness could have been excused if the pork was more... View all feedback.

The restaurant, like many good Yum Cha restaurants, has quite an ordinary facade. But step inside and you will meet a lovely, genuine family, who are passionate about Yum Cha.We found that the recommendations the owners made were particularly delicious (they had just made some fresh dumplings which they wanted us to try). We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and wish the owners every success. We will definitely be back.
Recommended to come to here by a friend. Not disappointed. Yum Cha was exceptional and so was the hospitality. Simon and his staff were wonderful, friendly and joyful. We also had a 2 year old, they have High chairs and staff talked and played with her. All of us left full and happy. We will return ❤️❤️❤️
Visited here for Yum Cha. The restaurant opens at 11.00am walked in at 11.30am. Ordered two dishes both were microwaved. Wont go back!
Have eaten Yum Cha extensively all over the World and the Yum Cha at Yum Cha House Wallsend is well up there with the best. A large selection of Yum Cha freshly cooked and served in a family run customer friendly restaurant. Restaurant is very clean people and service great. This is the second visit for my wife and I and we will certainly return. Our drive in from Corlette (Nelson Bay) takes an hour each way but, the food was just so very good, we will be doing it more often, delicious.
