Mavros Fish And Chips

I seriously don’t know how the reviews for this place aren’t higher , the grilled flake is amazing the potato cakes are to die for and the staff are super friendly. My only complaint is I wish there was more outdoor seating! Seriously I’m from Metro Melbourne and you just don’t get this kind of great fish and chips where I live definitely worth going.

Definitely the best fish and chips in the area. Fish is fresh, chips are nice and crunchy and now they have calamari strips which are the best calamari I've had at a fish and chips before

Very long wait but was worth it, very nice grilled fish, crab Stick chips, very hot too, all chair's tables need repairing but still worth eating outside.

Ordered from here because the Barwon Head's fish and chip shop has gone down hill. It's a pain having to trek across the bridge but I'm glad to say the fish and chips from here are great. Staff are friendly also and they take card which is an added bonus. Worth trying if you're in Ocean Grove.

Well done. Both the battered and crumbed were exactly as they should have been super crunchy but light, not doughy or oily. Chips were quite good, would've preferred more crunch but still happy with them. Pineapple fritters were yum too.
