Dairy Twist Cafe - Walled Lake

Cool little spot with the best ice cream ever! If the place isn't packed, you'll think a crazy person designed the drive thru, but it has to be that way to accommodate the floods of people that swarm the place sometimes.

Before I order I ask, has anything changed in the last 2 weeks and the server says no, nothing. The fries are in a brown bag vs the white container and half the serving it was 2 weeks ago, the cup of soft serve is still same height but is now hollow in the middle. It’s still tasty good but when you leave feeling shorted, you sort of don’t want to return. It’s a good spot just inconsistent with what is presented even if you repeat same order 3 times, different days.

Ridiculous place that has 10 spots for drive through parking but doesn’t allow customers to park there, order, then leave (when no one is actually in the drive through). Was told I’d have to park at a neighboring business in order to order at the walk up counter because all of those spots were taken. The lady that spoke to us was extremely rude and for that I will never give them my business.

I’ve cream and service were great, but don’t order turtle parfait. Pecans tasted old and stale. Yuck!!!

Big portions with a big price tag. Good ice cream. $4 for a pup cup is ridiculous though.
