We were here for dinner after a family affair with about 20 people. Although everyone ordered a la carte, it went very fast until the food came. The “Lamm” is very rural and is a traditional inn where the boss cooks and takes over the service. The interior has come a bit into the years and has a simple design, but this is the same as the beautiful beer garden in good weather. For many years I have been a regular guest and can only recommend this pension to anyone who appreciates German bourgeois cuisine. Every Wednesday there are alternately additional events from the slaughter plate, chicken halves, beef and horse stables. Those who know the Odenwald and the building land also find typical dishes made from green kernels and wild and vasper variants on the menu. Sausage and meat offers come from our own production. And parking is available in the countryside.

Die Inneneinrichtung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und einfach gestaltet, aber das gleicht der schöne Biergarten bei guten Wetter aus. Seit vielen Jahren bin ich Stammgast und kann jedem, der die deutsche bürgerliche Küche schätzt, dieses Gasthaus nur empfehlen. Jeden Mittwoch gibt es abwechselnd zusätzliche „Events“ von Schlachtplatte, Halbe Hähnchen, bis hin Rindfleisch und Meerrettich. Wer den Odenwald und das Bauland kennt, findet u.a. auch typische Gerichte aus Grünkern und Wild und Vespervarianten auf der Speisekarte vor. Die Wurst und Fleischangebote stammen aus eigener Herstellung. Und Parkplätze gibt es auf dem Lande allemal.
