overpriced and overrated. the set-up is strange. I would recommend the colville street patisserie about this place. turn right to place an order. then go to the left, back through the line, while they carry their pastries on a scrap of 2x4. but if they have ordered food, they come back to the counter and through the line. then they find silverware in the escaping area. it just felt uncomfortable and had no flow. Crazy baked, great service, good sitting outdoors. we both came back days when we were in walla walla of the dingen we tried our favorites were the lox bagel, the cripple (croissant muffin) and the dulce de leche danish. good for families, couples or groups.
We had a great breakfast here but Beware their order system at the counter is painfully slow and a bit irritating. Once seated with food, which took at least 45 minutes, the food was great. The fresh squeezed orange juice is ‘ to die for’! We all loved our meals I had the daily quiche w/greens. My friends enjoyed an egg sandwich the avocado toast plus a fresh croissant. If you are patient or come at an off time you will enjoy! Don’t miss the delicious bakery items. The choices are endless everything looks amazing!
I had a late lunch this week at about 2:30pm on a weekday. It was not busy at all. I ordered a banh mi sandwich. After about 10-15 minutes I get paged to the counter where you pick up the food. Turns out the front counter does not communicate with kitchen very well as the kitchen is out of the necessary ingredients to make a banh mi. Oh well , I said to the chef, give me a mortadella sandwich . The chef tells me he will personally make my sandwich. Great. After another 10-15 minutes I got my sandwich. Not busy and it takes that long to toast some bread (the best part of the sandwich) slice some mortadella, add some cheese and sprinkle a few pistachios on it? The sandwich was ok, but not outstanding. It needed some artisan salami, roasted red peppers or maybe some type of mustard. It was just plain tasting and needed some pizzazz. Definitely not worth a 30 minute wait. On my way out I asked a young woman working up front if could give me directions to a winery. She had no clue. Then I asked her for the address of the restaurant we were standing in so I could get my bearings. Incredulously she again had no clue. I must be an old geezer because I have never worked for any business without knowing their address. How do you do that? The winery was 2 storefronts down the street!
