While this place doesn’t quite measure up to those standards, it does offer a local option if you're craving barbecue. It’s decent, but not authentic. Do they put in the effort? Absolutely. We ordered a special platter and swapped chicken for brisket. Flavor, smoke, and the bark are essential in barbecue, and while they come close, they fall short in all areas. Great barbecue requires time and care.

There's so much food that we’ll have enough for two more... read more My husband just picked up the PIG OUT platter, which includes ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. There's so much food that we’ll have enough for two more meals! The smoky flavor is excellent; the ribs practically melt in your mouth. The hushpuppies are like crispy little bites of Southern sunshine. The coleslaw is fresh, and the cornbread is so sweet and moist that it could be classified as dessert. If I could, I would give them 7 stars!
