After visiting the Sensorium museum located in the same building, its a must to sit down and replenish energy resources in this lovely restaurant. Serving typical Swiss dishes the rösti is a MUST for rösti lovers! Portions are generous and homecooked. The staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. especially if you have little ones and kids. Really worth a visit if you are in the area. View all feedback.

Stayed here en route from Chamonix to Jena with no thought other than to sleep.I was intruiged when I found it as the setting is lovely in a rural area east of Berne. It seems to be a health spa and conference and cultural centre too. Probably interesting if you are into that sort of thing. Mud baths, cuddling trees, self realisation and odd food. Rooms a bit like posh hall of residence. OK but basic. wifi poor. Clean, lots of parking, quiet, wide screen TV( no English channels), and with a good breakfast. However the dinner I had was very poor value. As my German did not run to understanding many of the items on the menu I took the easy option of having their luxury burger. This, with a medium glass of red wine, a glass (not a bottle) of fizzy water, an espresso and some bread came to €64, almost as much as the room. About 3 times what it was worth. The setting was brilliant though.
